Antonis Masonidis (amasonidis@gmail.com) was born in Athens in 1975. He holds a Ph.D. in Economic History from Ionian University with specialization in financial history. The title of his thesis was “Speculative Episodes in European Society and Economy – The Examples from Great Britain (18th-19th century)”. He holds a Master’s (M.Sc) of the National and Kapodistrian University and the Athens University of Economics and Business in Applied Mathematics and Quantitative Methods and a Bachelor Degree (B.Sc) in Economics Science from the University of Piraeus. He has being lecturing on the topics of Economic and Financial History, Political Economy and quantitative methods for social sciences on undergraduate and postgraduate level. He has been a postdoctoral researcher in the Ionian University and the Institution of Mediterranean Studies, as well as scientific collaborator at the Ionian University.
